Bob Huffstetler (deceased), the original owner of Fort Huffstetler Adventures LLC. was a circuit judge for 20 years and a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1965. Bob had always been an enthuiast of guns and had accumulated a considerable amount for himself.

During Bob's retirement his wife Paulette jokingly said, "Bob, you own so many guns you might as well open a gun shop." Little did she know, Bob had taken that statement seriously. Soon after, they opened Fort Huffstetler Adventures LLC.

Since the passing of Bob Huffstetler in June of 2009, his wife Paulette and daughter Tonya are now operating Fort Huffstetler Adventures.
